We added a poker section to this site, so here's the story. For two years the best deal conversations we had didn't happen at conferences — they happened after them, at a table, cards in hand.
So we made it a format. Closed tournaments for our circle — co-founders, CEOs and investors from across the portfolio — in password-locked rooms CoinPoker builds for us. Sometimes the fund sponsors the prize pool; sometimes we hold the bank as organizer and guarantor while the table plays for its own pot. And we seat a few invited pros every game, so nobody is ever the best player in the room.
Why it works
- Poker is honest. You learn more about a founder in three hours of hands than in ten pitch calls.
- No audience. No streams, no leaderboards, NDA on everything. People relax.
- The lineup rotates. Every game is a new mix of builders, LPs and pros.
It's not a product and never will be. It's how a private fund keeps its network warm. If you think you belong at the table — the form below is the way in.
